Architecture shaped by light, material and quiet.
Rithwik Madariyil Architects is an architecture and design studio, designing residential, cultural and civic spaces.
We design places that feel inevitable: calm in proportion, honest in material, and made to be lived in for a very long time.
Design studies
Concept drawings that explore the ideas we care about. Built projects will be added here as they are completed.
All drawings on this page are illustrative concept studies. Please contact us for more information.
A practice built around the site.
Every project begins with the ground it stands on: the climate, the path of the sun and the people who will use it. From there we design at every scale, from a single room to a neighbourhood, with the same attention to detail.
Architecture
Houses, cultural buildings and civic spaces, designed from the first sketch to handover.
Interiors
Rooms, furniture and lighting that continue the language of the building.
Masterplanning
Campuses and neighbourhoods planned around movement, shade and shared space.
Landscape
Courtyards, gardens and thresholds that tie a building to its site.
